BIOGRAPHY

Eelco Leemans works with WINDS 4 CHANGE as an independent expert focused on sustainable ocean use, marine policy and offshore environmental programmes. His background includes leadership roles in shipping sustainability initiatives, marine environmental organisations and operational maritime positions across international sailing and commercial vessels.

Eelco previously served as the President of the Clean Shipping Coalition and Executive Director of the North Sea Foundation. His experience spans Arctic marine litter research, ship emissions policy and multi-use initiatives within offshore windfarm development and broader marine sustainability programmes.
